I am using this tool. There is #value# error in field C140. Is there an update to eliminate this error?

Also in Web bench thermal simulation I cannot get the fan velocity to remain at a number other than 0. Is this normal?

Hi Jerry,

The #VALUE! error only shows up when you select one of the TPS54xx0 parts because they do not have a soft-start pin. Instead they have internal soft-start. Without a soft-start pin, there is no calculation for the capacitor. This cell value changes to a calculated capacitance when one of the TPS54xx1 parts are selected.

I'm moving this to the WEBENCH forum to address the question on the thermal simulation.

Jerry,

The fan velocity should be able to be edited at all times, including if you have already run a simulation and are viewing it. It should not behave the way you have described. Could you create a public share of the design and post it for us to look into?
