Hi,

I need help on Tina-TI

I don't know how to do a frequency analysis on my circuit

Here is my setting, I'm going to use a 5V Pulse

By the way, frequency analysis will have to be performed only at Steady State. So you can not perform it on the pulse. You will just have to specify the DC level at which you want the response.

I watched the videos but I still didn't see how to set up a frequency analysis. I can't find the option under the 'Analysis' bar.

Esme,

(1) First you will need to set the DC voltage on the source (it will not work with a pulse). This will set the correct DC bias point for the analysis.
(2) Next you will need to inject an AC signal to the appropriate point in your circuit (for sims you can inject 1V magnitude, of course this will not work in real life, but it is fine for sims). Don't worry about the frequency of the source, that will be swept in the analysis.
(3) Finally run the AC Analysis --> AC Transfer Characteristics and observe the waveform where you want to see the magnitude and phase.

Also note that if you are adding a DC source and injecting the AC signal to the same node, no need to add 2 sources (that will not work). Just add 1 source, set the DC Level on it to the appropriate level and select the signal type as Sine Wave with 1V magnitude.

This is my output now, I want to raise the gain to 20dB. do you have any suggestions on how should I change my circuit?
