My Customer has question.Please cooperate me.

The attached file is the result of WEBENCH Design Report of TPS56221.

This report is "IC Tj" = 90.1degC when ”IC loss” = 3.474W.（Ta=30degC）

How do you calculate this "IC Tj"? at WEBENCH.

Dear Kishi,

WEBENCH team used an adjusted ThetaJA value of 17.3 degC/W based on thermal measurements of TPS56221 EVM board.

Tj = Ta + PD*ThetaJA = 30 + (3.474*17.3) = 90.1degC
