TINA/Spice/TPS43060: TPS43060 TINA-TI Simulation

Part Number: TPS43060
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi, I'm simulating TPS43060 transient model by TINA-TI. But simulation doesn't run from 0%. I think simulation is running so slow.
Is there any way that does simulation become faster? Please check attached file.

  • Yamashiro-san,

The reason for this is that you are using a DC source and the circuit is not able to converge. It is better to use a Piecewise Linear Source with 10us rise time to resemble the real life scenario.

Alternately and a simpler approach is to select "Zero Initial Values" before running the transient sim. This way, any DC source will automatically be given a small rise time by the simulator.
