Hi all,

Can anyone explain why I don't get a gain of 10 with this circuit? I've attached pictures for easy explanation. I've used the LME49710 as a non-inverting amp and I have a voltage source of 50mV but the output keeps showing me 50mV instead of 500mV. Help, please!

Hi Brad,
It seems like you've tied -24V to the Vcc pin and +24V to the Vee pin whereas it should be the opposite connection / polarity setting.
Also, this part cannot handle higher than 34V total supply (Vcc - Vee) whereas you seem to be using 48V total.

Can you try lowering the supplies and inverting the polarities?

Alright so I did both of those things and I still get a red sine wave output of 100mVpp which is what my input is. Any other suggestions of what it could be?

Hi Brad,

The attached TINA-TI file shows the right gain (~+10V/V) with 100ohm output load. It must be that your 8ohm speaker is too low for this device to drive directly and you may have to raise that impedance or otherwise add more output current to drive 8ohm.
