TINA/Spice/TPS2115A: Conversion from IBIS to SPICE model for simulation

Hi,

Is there a way to convert an IBIS model (IBIS Version 4.1) to SPICE model for behavior simulation? Some web tools can only convert IBIS model with version below 3. An example device is TPS2115A which has IBIS model with version 4.1.

Hi Pengyu,

You will not get a behavior model by converting from IBIS because it does not contain that type of information. Take TPS2115A for example, the IBIS model was developed for the control pins only: stat, d1 and d2.

If you try those tools you will see that the converted model is basically a RC network.
