Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hi
1. I could see only the Pspice model in the link for the part TPS54719. But, unable to get the TINA simulation model.
2. Is there any option to use this Pspice model into TINA tool?
3. Will there be any possibility to load the WEBBENCH design into the TINA Tool?
I have construct the our design in the WEBBENCH and I am trying to simulate the same in TINA to understand few other values.
Kindly help me out in this.
Regards,
Felix.
Felix,
The PSpice models in the product folders for most power devices are encrypted and can only be used in PSpice version 15.7 or higher. I will ask to have the simulation export function from WEBENCH to be added to the TPS54719. Once available, you could export your WEBENCH design directly into TINA-TI.
Hi Britt,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I tried to convert the PSpice model to TINA based on the below steps that I read in another thread
"1.) Download the unencrypted PSpice model (transient for time based simulations, average for AC simulations)
2.) Use the New Macro Wizard to import the PSpice model into TINA-TI (Tools-->New Macro Wizard). Give the .TSM file a name, navigate to the .lib file where you have saved it on your computer and select the LM25116_TRANS model and use the Auto generate shape option.
3.) Save the .TSM file and insert it into your schematic
4.) Create your schematic based on the WEBENCH design."
It gave an error. Please refer the attached image.
Will it be possible to share the TINA model for this device so that I can construct the circuit and do the simulation?
Regards,
Felix.
Felix,
I understand your methodology. Unfortunately, per the previous message, the models are encrypted and cannot be used in TINA-TI. You would have to have the unencrypted PSpice model in order to follow that methodology.
We have added the device to the Simulation Export feature list in WEBENCH. I will update the post once the feature has been added to WEBENCH.
Hi Felix,
We already have TINA-TI Transient model and multiple reference designs available for TPS54519 device. Please check in Tools and Software section of the part here.
We will update you on TPS54719 once the Sim Export feature is enabled on WEBENCH.
Thanks!!

Mahavir Jain.
Felix,
The TPS54719 has been updated in WEBENCH for TINA-TI simulation export.
