TINA/Spice/TPS54560-Q1: TINA Simulation Problem (Operating Point not found)

Part Number: TPS54560-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, TPS54560

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I'm trying to evaluate compensation network using TINA simulation tool for TPS54560. The simulation is working fine with WEBENCH design (both transient & AC response) but it is throwing some error  with modified design for AC response (working fine for transient response). Tried to debug it by changing the DC iteration number but no help. Attached, screenshot of error and modified design.

  • Harish,

The TINA-TI design you have exported is the transient model. It cannot be used for AC simulation. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to export the AC model with WEBENCH, however, you should be able to explore the changes in the WEBENCH tool by modifying the components and running the Bode Plot simulations.

We do have the PSpice average model in the product folder for use, but this could only be used in PSpice.
