Webench/LM3429: Output current regulation

Part Number: LM3429

Tool/software: Webench

Im using LM3429 for boost led driver with constant current

Vin=11-30V

Vout=36-40V

Iout= 1.5A

In 12Vin I dont have the 1.5A, the max output current is 1.2A

From 15V-30V I have the desired output current 1.5A

Please help me

Hi Victor,

I have created two WEBENCH designs for your reference:

1. Vin @11-30V, Vout=40V, and Iout =1.5A. webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi

2. Vin @ 11-30, Vout=39.6V, and Iout=1.2A, webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi

The Vout level is set by the number of LEDs in series and number of parallel strings defines Iout. If you like to learn more about WEBENCH, there is a help button on the top of the panel can take you to the help information page.
