I known no one who is watching this forum can do anything about it, but a quick search shows that this is a common problem that should really be easy to solve - just add all new parts to TINA as part of the release cycle. TI's support for TINA software is pathetic and shows a complete disregard for how engineers build circuits with their products. I have literally asked TI FAEs to make LTSpice-compatible models just to stay away from this product. More to the point, I routinely choose LT parts over TI solely because I know I can simulate them in LTSpice instead of having to bang my head against the TINA brick wall. Just saying.

    Hi Craig,

    We have been constantly striving to add more and more parts to TINA-TI by generating macro files and reference designs in TINA compatible format. For some parts, we support this by adding the files at the time of device releases, for some these are added later. For a significant number of parts we have enabled Sim Export features where users can create their design in WEBECH and later can export the models directly from WEBENCH to the tool of their choice (PSPICE / TINA-TI / ALTIUM). We also publish unencrypted models to product folders wherever it is possible without causing IP issues.

    The End User License Agreement (EULA) for LTSpice doesn't allow us to support our parts in LTSpice. I apologize for the inconvenience it causes you and would request you to contact us through forum posts. We will do our best to provide solution as fast as we can.
