Webench: How to change min/max operating values when running worst case analysis

Tool/software: Webench

Hi,

Anyone know whether I can change the limit(min/max) of the operating values when running Sensitivity Matrix or Worst case analysis using Webbench(picture below).

Thanks,

  • kudjung,

Currently, you cannot change these values. These are the worst case values that are calculated based on the design space that you have specified. The design space in voltage and current is specified in the notes below the tabs. Please note that the component tolerances are also used.

The Sensitivity Matrix does allow you to change the component tolerance and threshold values to see what components are affecting the circuit the most or least.

  • Hi Brit,

Thanks for the answer. My specific parameter is on the limit for Vout Actual. It seem to me that Webbench always use +/-5% as a limit for Vout Actual and this is fixed and can't be changed. Is that correct?

Also, another question, is whether the worst case IC parameter is taken into account when run the worst case analysis? For example, does the variation of the reference voltage across temperature range taken into account?

    Thanks,
