WEBENCH® Tools: Webench Toolbar did not get added to Allegro toolbar when Webench was installed.

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello,

I installed Webench, but the Webench pulldown menu did not get added to the Allegro PC Editor toolbar.  How do I manually install the Webench pulldown menu?   I am using version Allegro version 17.2.

    Hi Randy,

    The WEBENCH Allegro Connector is designed for OrCAD Capture Schematic editor and simulator only. You can use it to simulate WEBENCH exported designs for PSPICE simulations. We have CAD files export feature present separately in WEBENCH that gives you schematic CAD files for PCB design. Exactly what feature you are looking at by installing the Connector. Please let me know and I will help accordingly.

    Hello,

     

    Yes, I figured that out after I submitted my question.   Thanks for the response. The menu does appear in Capture.   I won’t be using it, I was just testing the install for one of my users to make sure it did not impact our ADW/EDM configuration of Concept and Allegro PCB Editor.
