TINA/Spice: Issue with Transient Analysis Not Responding __ TINA TI Version 9.3.150.328 SF-TI

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Running  TINA TI Version 9.3.150.328 SF-TI and choose an example from the examples the program provides, specifically CONTROL LOOP, PI TEMP CONTROL_INPUT.

Attempt to run transient analysis, however the progress bar to run transient analysis pauses around 3% and the program begins to Not Respond and ultimately crashes. TI tech support is unable to help with this issue and has suggested to post to this forum. Please help.

  • Hi Isaac,

The test schematic is specifically meant for DC Analysis >> DC Transfer Characteristics simulation, wherein you can vary "Rtherm" from 9.95k to 10.05k and see corresponding voltage variation.I could simulate and get the results shown at the bottom on schematic page. Also, just for cross-checking, I simulated transient analysis with 50s simulation time and could get 5V at VO.

I have attached the schematic with transient simulation results image at the bottom below DC Sim results for your reference. Please let us know if you are still facing issues.

    Thanks!!
