WEBENCH® Tools/LM2678: Schematic and layout don't match

I have a LM2678 design in webench.  The schematic and layout don't match.  The layout has several more components than the schematic.  In the past I've been able to download and  import the web bench schematic and layout into my cad tool (Eagle) and get them to be consistent with a little tweaking.

The schematic downloads with the stimulus sources and loads, which I can deal with. The layout has several components (rsync, css, rfb1, etc) that are not even shown in the schematic, or in the example circuit in the datasheet.

Am I not selecting something properly? Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your support using Ti's WEBENCH Designer Tool.

    The LM2678 comes with fixed Vout and adjustable Vout versions. The board is setup to support both versions.  

    For simplicity, you can create a design using the adjustable version so the schematic BOM and PCB BOM are closely matched.

  • Thanks Howard. It's closer. Still not a match. Thanks for the help. 

    When I make the instances match, I get a ton of errors related to attributes not matching on components.   Is there a contact with accelerated designs who I can send this to so they can improve their Eagle export?

  • Hi Dave,

    To help reduce the errors, you will have to use one common library for both the schematic and PCB.  I would suggest to the use the board file library and use the script to generate the library.   Then save the library as:  AcceleratedDesigns_Lib.lib and update the schematic to this newly saved library.  

    Here is the LM2678-ADJ saved as a project. You will still need to do some cleaning to clear both ERC/DRC.
