Dear,

My customer is using the keystone serdes AMI model for serdes simulation, but face error which reminds some files don't support 64bit windows platform. Bleow show the details, would u pls help check if the model version can support 64bit or not, if not pls help provide one new version to support 64bit system. Thank u very much.

Platform: windows 7

Device: c6678

Serdes AMI model version: Keystone_SRIO_AIF_Hyperlink_SerDes_AMI_Model_v0p96_r1p2.zip

Andy,

You are running the IBIS-AMI model for the Keystone Rincewind model. This is discussed in TI Keystone DSP Hyperlink SerDes IBIS-AMI Models Application Report SPRABW2.

This document indicates that this model only supports execution on 32-bit Windows machines.

Now all customer run Windows7 64bit platform, would u pls help provide the relative model to support 64bit system?

Andy,

This is not an option. Customers will need to run the models in a 32-bit mode. The development team that created these models no longer exists.

Tom,
The customer said the model version is 5.0, the ADS2013 installed on the 32bit Windows cannot support v5.0 model. Do u have any suggestions to make the model work in 32bit system?

Andy,

IBIS-AMI models are available with minimal support. They are available as-is. There is no revision capability. As stated in the document:

1.2 IBIS Interconnect Modeling Specification (IBIS) Standard Version

The model release conforms to IBIS standard version 5.0.

1.4 EDA Simulators Qualification

This model release was verified with the following EDA Simulators:

• Mentor Graphics, HyperLynx 8.1

• SiSoft™, Quantum Channel Designer™ 2010.06-SP8 Build 4

• Agilent, Advanced Design System 2011.01

• Sigrity, Channel Designer Version 10.1.5.03141

1.5 OS Platforms Supported

Windows 32 bit

I recommend that they use a prior version of ADS that is known to be compatible with this model.
