Hello every one;

I am trying to find a piecewise linear excitation file ( txt or pwl file) to use a power source for Tina-TI to simulate a pulse surge  like the the 2KV 1.2/50us  surge pulse.

Does anyone has this file or know how to generate it?

    rab,

    Please see the attached file. You can generate both the voltage and current waveforms from this file (adjusted for 2K). If you want to export the data out into a file, use the Diagram Window and export to text. To import into a TINA source, you will have to do them both individually by using 1 sweep per file then importing them into TINA's PWL source. Remember that the PWL source uses time/value pairs.
