TINA/Spice: .lib, , #SPICE, #TINA

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I am having issues importing the SPICE model for PZU3_9B2A, obtained from the Nexperia website (had file extension .prm file). I am still a rookie reading and writing SPICE models, and I think it's related to the syntax or the model itself. I have tried:

-Changing the file extension to .lib, .mod, and .cir

-Checking for typos in the model file (I'm not an expert yet so I could have missed something).

-TINA9 TI reports that it "successfully compiled" the macro when checking with File->import-> netlist.

I chose the TINA zener diode schematic model when using the macro wizard.

I read through the forums and there were other articles with issues importing Nexperia models. One of them was related to the syntax of the model. I am not an expert in writing models yet so I'm not sure how I could identify this issue. Any help is appreciated.

Additionally, any suggestions on SPICE model syntax and code literature would be greatly appreciated.

File extension (.prm) is not recognized by the forum. The file extension was changed to .cir for purposes of this thread:PZU3_9B2A.cir
