TIDA-00978: TIDA-00978 EVB connections

Part Number: TIDA-00978

I am evaluating TIDA-00978 in test mode with a photodiode soldered in the appropriate position. After exposing the Photodiode to LED(running on DC current), I could not find any change in the output. I have followed instructions on the data sheet, but still doubtful about two connections.

1) Test_In is connected to Vs. I have connected the Test_in(SMA slot) to the DC source of 3.3 V (similar to Vcc). Is this right way?

2) The output is differential output type. Does it mean, we need to use a differential probe (and connect to both SMA outputs) to measure output on oscilloscope?
