WEBENCH® Tools/TPS55340: Req to change minimum level of pulse current source

Hi,

  In load transient of TPS55340, I need to simulate transient load which changes from 0.2A  to 0.4A and back to 0.2A but the minimum value allowed by pulse current source is 0.25A.

Request you to change minimum value to 0.2A.

Set Default value is given as 0.2A but it is not working.

    Hi,

     TPS55340 is supposed to operate for all currents less than 5A.

     But there is a minimum threshold of 0.25A in load transient.

    Load transient case is shown in the first post and request you to change the minimum level to 0.2A.

    In input transient, maximum value of load resistor allowed is 96 ohm as shown in snapshot below.

    This fixes minimum output current as 0.25A at 24V output.

    I need to simulate 0.2A at 24V ouput, for which load resistance has to 120 ohm.

    can you please change maximum value to incorporate 120 ohm?

    In nutshell,

    Request you to change minimum current level in load transient to 0.2A and maximum value of resistance in input transient to 120 ohm.

    Hi Vignesh,

    The constraints that is been put is conventional. So please trying using the sim export option where the design can be taken locally and modified as per the need.
