Hi Manju

It looks like you are using an encrypted library file to be imported into TINA. you can contact your local FAE to get the unencrypted model file which you can import into any SPICE based simulator of choice.

I'm having the same issue with importing the LM3424 into TINA-9. You refer to FAQ that appears to have no link in the previous reply.
The LM3424 SPICE model and the latest TINA were downloaded straight from TI - it seems a TI model and TI tool should be compatible. Its also worth noting (RE the reply above) there are no FAE's beyond tier-1 customers anymore with TI's move from dist'y FAE's to TI online solely.
Do I need a special, non-posted .LIB file for this device?

Please understand that OrCAD/ PSPICE is the standard tool of preference for most customers is what is chosen for our model releases.This is developed by a different company from DesignSoft which released TINA-TI so a model which is encrypted on one cannot be seamlessly transferred to the other.
