TINA/Spice/TPS82130: Can the supplied models be used to simulate the part in an inverting configuration?

Part Number: TPS82130
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, , TIDA-01457

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello,

I am using the TPS82130 in a design to step down to -2.5V from 12V in an inverting configuration. I would like to run some simulations on my circuit. I have tried exporting the model from WEBENCH to TINA-TI and modifying the circuit to match mine, but the part did not behave as expected. I also tried to run the simulation with values from the TIDA-01457 reference design and it did not work, and I also tried directly within WEBENCH with no luck.

Could there be something that I am doing wrong, or is the supplied model not valid in the inverting configuration?

If it is invalid, is there another model available that will work, or is there anything that I can modify to make it work?

Thank you,

Russell
