When the average model for the TPS54620 is used to simulate the circuit of Figure 35 of the datasheet, the results do not match the measured results in Figure 36 - especially the phase response.
The gain response can be matched by assuming that C10 (output cap) is lower due to tolerance & DC bias effects ( I used 22uF) but the phase response does not roll off in the simulation as seen when measured.
What is the reason for this? Is the internal average model just a simple linear gain stage (V/A)? Do we have a model for the TPS54620 that predicts more accurate phase response?tps54620 compare.TSC
