Dear sir,

Our customer would like to do a 2000W, bi-direction DC/DC power solution. the specification is similar to TIDA-00653. May I know who is contact window in TI reference design team? I also list some questions from customer:

  1. What is the min./max. direction changing time?
  2. When the solution operates in Boost mode (12V to 48V), what is the control mode? Could it set to “constant current mode”?
  3. What is the min. input voltage when the solution operates in Buck mode (48V to 12V)?
  4. Is there any EVM for evaluation?

    Currently the contact person for this design would be me . Please see the answer to your questions below :

    1. What is the min./max. direction changing time?    -- The direction change time in the Hardswitching version should be very small in the order of microseconds. Currently the firmware does not change the direction very fast . To do fast mode switching, another reference design can be looked at "TIDA-00705".
    2. When the solution operates in Boost mode (12V to 48V), what is the control mode? Could it set to “constant current mode”? -- The TIDA-00653 Boost mode operates in Constant current mode.
    3. What is the min. input voltage when the solution operates in Buck mode (48V to 12V)? -- 24 V
    4. Is there any EVM for evaluation? -- There is no EVM for this project.
