Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hi Team,
Our customer try to use PSPICE for LMH6401 design. Customer already have spice model from our web site. However, there is something error when customer run PSPICE. The questions are as follows.
1. The customer had to select Skip the initial transient biaspoint calculation when doing transient simulation, if not the simulation could not running.
2.When doing AC simulation, the simulation will stop at Starting pseudo-transient algorithm after increase the RELTOL(in Option Tab).
Attachments is customer's PSPICE model.
Can we support?LMH6401 PSPICEpro.rar

Ricardo
Hi Herman,
Do we have the version 16.6? and can you try it again? Our customer is waiting for my reply.

LMH6401.LIBHi Ricardo,
I replace some of the sensitive ideal diodes on LMH6401 and it seems it helps it to converge. The file is attached.
Since this is using LMH6401 is conjunction with other models, the customer might have to do the following as well:
1. On top of clicking "Advanced Convergence", the user might have to activate "Auto Convergence" options as well. This "Auto Convergence" is available on the same GUI/page as the "Advanced Convergence"
2. If this still cause occasional problem, I notice the switch on OPA695 model uses pretty high resistance of 1 Tera ohms (1e12), so in this case, ask the user to reduce in staircase by one decade per stair ... up to 1Gohms (1e9)
