WEBENCH® Tools/LM25116: "SIM Export" button missing

Sim export may not be supported for LM25116, or it might be a bug in webench. I'll move this to the webench forum.

customer needs the bode plot to evaluate the stability. He has an inductive load and changed it in webench. If you do that webench doesn't offer bode plot any more.

Now, customer downloaded the PSpice model into TINA-TI. The imported LM25116 model has only 6 pins (instead of 20). Eg: current sense is not possible. Is there an enhanced model with all functionallity?

I do not have any open projects for LM25116. I only commented about my typical work flow and how to use the two different types of models. Let me elaborate further.

Generally, but not always, we post two different types of models, average and transient:
The average model is a frequency domain model that is used to generate Bode plots. They are mostly based on an "APC switch) type model with an active node a passive node and a common node. All you really need for the model is the input voltage pin , switch node pin and ground pin along with the compensated error amplifier so you will also include FB pin and COMP pin. Additionally you will need to specify the switching frequency so you may have an RT pin or more likely just a parameter field in the model to specify the frequency. So it is not necessary to provide other pins in the average model.

The transient model is a time domain model that allows you to look at the signals as voltages or currents vs time. You can use these models to examine start up and steady state behavior as well as transient response. These models will almost always have all pins modeled so you can look at the various pin current or voltage waveforms vs time.

The models are developed in the pspice environment then ported over to TINA-TI. They are functionally equivalent. There is no functional difference between an encrypted and unencrypted models. The encrypted models hide all the internal workings of the model so they act like a "black box" whilee the unecrypted models are "open".

So essentially you have two different model types for two different usages that are complementary to each other . Some modeling systems such as SIMPLIS use a common model for both time and frequency domain analysis, but pspice does not work that way, at least for types of models we are providing.
