TINA/Spice/TINA-TI: Not gate with switches in TINA-TI

Part Number: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Greetings. I have a really difficult time understanding how you could write this example circuit at www.electronics-tutorials.ws/.../boo11.gif with switches to create a NOT gate. I tried to do it, but instead of the light bulb I used a voltage pin. The switches (SW-SPST1) do not seem to work correctly, since the VF1 pin always shows a voltage of -10V. Or am I just thinking about this matter in the wrong way?

  • Hi D S,

There are some changes recommended in the schematic you created.

    1. There must be reference node for the circuits(Ground)

    2.  Also the Volt Meter is placed incorrectly.

Please find below changes done and PFA  updated schematic.

    1. Load is added to view the output

    2. Ground(reference node) is added

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
