I am trying to use the INA240A4 ( 200V/V version ) for current sensing and limiting of an LDO, and have been running into discrepancy issues with some basic simulation results in TINA and the components datasheet.
In the datasheet the device is listed as having a maximum swing to GND value of GND + 10mV (typical being GND + 1mV) yet in the simulation I cannot get the output to drop below 60mV of GND with the specified 10K output load.
I would like to know if this is possible to solve in the simulations, as it is preventing me from running further simulations of larger circuits using the component.
Here is a copy of the schematic used in TI, where the current source IG1 ramps from 0A to 100mA over 2 seconds.
and here is a copy of the results, where it can be seen that the output won't drop below about 60 mV.
