Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hi,
I am trying to simulate my flyback converter design. The flyback converter is supposed to be operated in the current control mode using UC1843 controller. The outer voltage control loop is realized as in schematic below (based on TI datasheets for UCx842/43 devices). TL431 is used as to create compensator and optocoupler is used for separation. I cannot success with transient simulation...
Optoisolator performs strange, once I remove the isolator circuit operates, with optocoupler gate signals, output voltages , .... converge to zero.
The isolator circuit itself was tested like below and doesn't work for me.
Anything obvious I have missed? I will appreciate any feedback from someone with experience with those current mode controllers.
