TINA/Spice/LP8758-E0: About parameter of component condition

Part Number: LP8758-E0
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

Could you tell me about the condition of the upper left part of transient response and startup simulation model parts.
What are the meanings of the following parameters that are described in the conditions?

・FASTSIM=0
・SC_FLTDLY_BUCKx=0

Also, when we want to see start-up you heard that you set SS = 0, VSET_Bx is a parameter related to SS,
can we change it on the user side? Is VSET_Bx setting related only when SS = 0?

Best Regards,
Yuto Sakai

  • Hi Sakai-san,

The model usage notes are described below the schematic. This contains information on how to set the parameters.

FASTSIM is used to speed up the sim. If you want to do that, please set this to 1
SC_FLTDLY_BUCKx: The turn-off time for the regulators to disable, if the device undergoes short circuit or overload fault. User should enter this value carefully. For the lesser value of delay, the device may undergo fault during startup. To clear the fault toggle
