TINA/Spice: Compactor circuit simulation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, OPA192

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dear,

Could anybody can suggest Op-amp/comprator based circuit to meet below requirement.

Basically i need to poll the analog inputs(A&B) and need to change the band selection in the oscillator design by MCU.

I need to poll A&B input and based on the inputs, need to generate the logic input to the MCU.

Please suggest suitable circuit configuration to generate the required logic inputs to the MCU based on the analog inputs.

Also these inputs are step inputs and there is no ramping voltages.

  • Hello Varaprasad,

You can use the following Op-amp (OPA192), configured in comparator mode with signle power supply of +5V.

The corresponding pins for A&B inputs are shown in the Fig.(1).

    Fig.(1)

The result waveform for the specified testbench is shown is Fig.(2).

For input A=-15,B=-15 and A=0,B=0, the output is pulled to VCC i.e. 5V

However the circuit behaves correctly for the input pair(A=-15,B=0 and B=-15,A=0) as mentioned in the table provided by you.

Please find the product folder of OPA192: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware
