I just would like to know what is the communication protocol between with PLC and TIDA-00164? (such as profibus, modbus ?)

Hi Mehmet,

This is not a "standard" IO module but a front-end demonstrator. the communication to the baseboard which emulates a control function is a SPI but there is no possibility to connect this board to an actual PLC CPU module.

And may you please offer any solution to me for this device to communication with PLC?

Our purpose is to create our own device to combining with analog input module and communication module.

I would also be very pleased if TI can offer to us a solution.

Hi Mehmet,

Please take a look at TI's multi-protocol industrial Ethernet and Fieldbus solution using PRU-ICSS, which is an core inside the Sitara processor family.
