PMP8606: current sense transformer

In the TI reference design PMP8606, the current sense transformer T1 is implemented with coilcraft part CS4100V-01L

I noticed that this part is rated to 24A. however, the input current for this application is significantly lower, averaging <1A @ 350V & 250W . Can you provide me some insight into why this particular current sense transformer was used? Would a smaller current sense transformer rated to only 10 or 5 A still be applicable to this design?

    Hoang, hello and thanks for your interest in Texas Instruments TI Designs. We have conferred with the Power Supply Design team and the designer any 100:1 current sense transformer that is able to handle the input current will be suitable for application to this design.
