TIDA-00355: LLC design

Hello,

According to the BOM (see Capture 1) and circuit diagrama transformer is an integrated transformer, but in Design Guide you use separated transformer and inductance (see Capture 2). Does it mean that all your calculation for LLC are incorrect for this evaluation board? Also, Wurth Electronics does not have a transformer  with the part number, listed in the BOM. Could you, please, tell me the tutns ratio for this transformer.

    Hi Lev,

    Sorry for the late reply - the concerned engineer is no longer with TI.
    We need to calculate the resonant inductor value separately. However, this is implemented as an integrated transformer as per the details given in the BOM. The part is available from Wurth; however, it is not a catalog part. You need to contact them to get this.
    The turns ratio is 5:1 as given in design guide.
