I have a peculiar observation!

I have a simple level shifting circuit with gain of 2 using THS3091 cfa

If I use it in a sheet containing only this circuit, it gives results exactly as computed & output is exactly as expected.

BUT

When I use this exact circuit in another sheet which has all other circuits I am simulating in which this level shifter is a part, the circuit has totally  unexpected results! I copy-pasted my original circuit in it, deleted all other circuits to have the original alone in the sheet thinking there is some inadvertent connection I am not able to see, but it still has  totally  different response!!!!!

I can attach both circuits- one of them, the sheet with all other circuits -- is proprietary. Is that ok to attach? Are my posts visible to all on this site?

Is there any off-the-bat explanation for such behavior to happen?

let me know: I can attach it to your email alone if that is possible.

  • Robin,

First, anything you post here is visible to the world so please do not share any proprietary information on this site. In addition, TI will not accept anything non-public unless it is under some form of legal agreement signed by both the owner and TI so please do not share your design via email or private message on the forum either.

You may, however, attach the one that is not proprietary here and we can try troubleshooting that first.

    Thanks,
    JC
