TINA/Spice: TINA TI Transient Analysis Floating Point Error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

I have been trying to analyze a section of my circuit, but I can't conduct a transient analysis without getting the "Floating Point Overflow" error. I'm unsure of how to fix this, but I have uploaded a .zip file of my circuit. If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be much appreciated.Firefly_Input_Analysis.zip

  • Hi Jessi,

Could you please confirm the TINA-TI version you are using?

I am not getting such error in latest version of TINA which is Version 9.3.150.328 SF-TI.

Though it gave convergence failure and it was resolved after increasing TR maximum iteration number to 40 from 20.

Kindly let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,

    Saket
