Part Number: PMP7760

Dear sir/mam,

I would like to design a flyback model with the specifications like 800V to 12V , 100W . For this specification can I use the PMP7760 model. Will this model suits to my specification or not. Can you please tell me the suggestions regarding about this model. The transformer was used in PMP7760 is 30W so I am thinking will it suits or not. Please suggest me your opinion.

    No you cannot, mainly because the power level is limited by the transformer used. To get 100W, you basically need to upgrade your power circuit (input filter capacitors, power transformer, MOSFET, rectifier diode, and output filter capacitors), and lower your current sense resistor, such that 100W can be processed and meet your spec.
