TINA/Spice:

Is it possible to get an automated y axis in tina-ti?  In ltspice the y axis is selected automatically in the transient selection. The x axis is ok because it is the time axis and you select this yourself.

In tina you have to adjust the y axis. for instance I am getting a y axis up to 300v when the simulation result is 24 volt so I have to select an axis of 0 to 30v. even then I can only tell that the line is 24v by looking across to the y axis. shouldn't there be a probe to place on the ouput line to give the exact voltage?

Hoping you can assist to make my simulations easier in tina -ti. I actually find ltspice much easier to use but in the particular circuit I have built this does not have the components I am using.

  • Hi Peter,

    1. Please go to Analysis-> Options. Tick the checkbox names "Remember diagram settings".
    2. Now, after you run a simulation, go to diagram window and double-click on the y-axis. Un-tick both the checkbox present on the left-bottom corner.
    3. Re-run the simulation. TINA-TI should have saved the diagram settings based on your action in steps 1 and 2. You should be able to get proper y-axes now.
    I hope it helps.

    Thanks,
    Abhisek
