I have no idea on what forum to ask, so sorry in advance.
I need to measure phase between current (sin wave) and voltage (square wave). So far:
1) In a previews prototype I had XOR the 2 signals and then measured the pulse duration. For that I used a FPGA. Does TI offer any IC that would be capable of measuring the duration of fast pulses with good accuracy? (For reference 1 degre at 1MHz is 2.7 ns) .
2) I thought about low pass filtering the pulses and then reading them, but this is for power application where there is a lot of noise - so digital - analog - digital conversion is not welcomed.
3) Fast ADC on DSP and then FFT to get angle. Will ask on DSP forum for the fastest adc.
