TIDA-01627: Required CAD files for TIDA-01627

Hi ,

Digital Shark is a provider of  Product Development and Software solution which includes Hardware, Embedded and Software .

We are Currently working with one of our  client to develop the Carrier board where we are designing Power Delivery Reference Design with Built-in Battery Control.

where  TIDA-01627 matches our requirement but when i tried to download  CAD   source files (.brd) in the below link , It was missing .

Kindly point me to right resource link, where I can get the .brd file

    Thanks for the quick reply!!.

    Yes I did download the cad files .zip . In Zip file I only see  .dxf  and .pdf file rather than .brd file. Kindly  point me to right resource.

    Hi Yatish,

    We do not share .brd files from TI-designs. We only share the gerbers to build the board as we do not support any changes to this design.

    Once again Thank you for the quick response !!

    Ok , but Gerber which is shared requires changes in Minimum Spacing and trace size as requested from our PCB fabricator.

    but I see for TIDA-00288 TI-design has shared the .brd files in the Product link. where we have modified the design files and got fabricated. So I was expecting the same for the TIDA-01627 .

    Note :

    1.If everything works fine we will procure the 500 MOQ of TI components mentioned in TIDA-01627 BOM.


    Kindly suggest how to proceed.

    Hi Yatish,

    The TIDA-01627 design was not developed in cadence which might also be the reason why there is no .brd file. We are currently in the process of updating the TIDA-01627 design to contain the TPS65987D PD controller which would allow for more flexibility in design options. This update should be released later this quarter.
