TIDA-00421: Assistance for coaxial connector mating part

Part Number: TIDA-00421

Hi,

We are planning to manufacture automotive 1.3M camera module ( TIDA-00421) from TI to test with our application board.

We want to use same coaxial cable connector (59S10H-40ML5-A) used in TI board but unable to find mating connector for this.

Could you please tell us the mating connector part number used for 59S10H-40ML5-A.?

We used 59S20X-400L5-Y from Rosenberger.

Hi Bharati,

Based on input from Rosenberger, another option is the 59S20X-40ML5-Z or 59S20X-40MT5-Z. These are straight-plug PCB connectors.

Hi Luis,

Thanks for the input but again these are male connectors. Since we have male connector on camera module we cannot use these. We are looking for female mating part.

Hi Bharati,
These connectors are all FAKRA standard. We cannot provide any input on a specific connector for the cable as this should come from the cable manufacturer. When we select our cables, we specify FAKRA connector, mating gender, length, and low loss or flexible cable (302 or 462 respectively). We have not had to provide a specific connector, just the gender. Only for the PCB connector do we pick the specific connector.
