Hi,
the 2 Ohm resistor between the inductor and the SW pin of the TPS40195 is chosen as a 1W type in Switcher Pro. The EVMs resistor is a 1/16W type. Is the 1W type really necessary? Or can I use a smaller type of resistor?
Regards,
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
I have submitted your question to the apps engineer for the TPS40195. I will let you know when I get an answer.
Thanks,

Hi Andreas,
A 2 Ohm 1/16W is sufficient for R4. I will request a change to the SwitcherPro and TINA-TI schematics.

Michael
