Hi!

I'm having trouble creating a macro from the SMAJxxxCA SPICE Model TXT file.

I get the "the circuit cannot be opened or converted into a macro" error.
Before that TINA.TI throws an "Error preparing shape list." error.

Can someone lend a hand?

Hi Rune,

Most likely, it's just a general incompatibility with TINA. But to help you further, could you reattach your file again? When I click your file, it says "Unfortunately, the page you've requested no longer exists."

(1) Are you busing the latest version of TINA-TI (9.3.150.328). If not, I would recommend installing that version since it had many compatibility enhancements for importing netlists.

(2) Secondly, the subcircuit names have "." in them. I think TINA-TI does not like this. Please change the "." to "_".

I think it will work after making these changes.
