Hello ti,

is it possible to get the complete reference design (schematics, gerber, brd, etc..) for the thunderbolt reference board shown on your website: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-0026  ?

    Unfortunately, only the schematics, BOM, and Assembly Drawings are available for this design. You can find them under the Design Files section in the TIDA-00268 product page.

    Hi Eric,

    if you read the message at the bottom of the pdf you will see that the design isn't complete you will need a thunderbolt license, but sine 2018 intel made them royality-free. So where are the complete schematics. So, this does not resolve my issue.

    Tim,

    You are correct but the specifications for the Thunderbolt controllers (and firmware) are accessed through My Intel. The same design is listed under the first document number. There is an alternate design that is used for storage applications.

    However you should strongly consider using Thunderbolt 3 over Type-C for a new design, as Type-C enables more features such as providing 100W of power. Check the link below for an overview from TI and Intel.
