TINA/Spice/LP87524B-Q1: Usage of spice model

Part Number: LP87524B-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello Team,

I would like to know how to use LP87524B-Q1 Pspice model.

According to application note, this Pspice model has additional 32 pins to set internal register and Vout can be dynamically changed by BUCKx_VSET.

However, I cannot find how to set BUCKx_VSET in application note. BUCKx_VSET register is 8-bit but Pspice model has only one input for each BUCKx_VSET.

Could you tell me how to use that?

Best Regards,

Kawai

  • Hi Kawai,

The 8 bit register has been converted to a single parameter in the model due to constraints in SPICE.
To set a Vout of 0.5V, you just need to modify the voltage on the voltage source to 0.5V.
Buckx_VSET can be dynamically changed by using a pulse voltage source as shown in schematic '04_LP87524B-Q1_DYNAMIC_VOUT'.

    Regards,
