Part Number: TIDA-01627

Hello, I'm HJ.

Nowadays, I am checking TIDA-01627 circuit design.

This is the power bank and also it can charge 3S li-ion battery.

But I don't find cell balancing circuit. Isn't it need to balance?

I think it will be a problem after a long time.

So, I want to know how to solve this problem.

I would appreciate it if you could answer this question.

    You could add the BQ4050 if cell balancing is required for your design.

    Thanks to your answer.
    But I have more questions.
    I think power bank have to need cell balancing and under voltage protection for battery cell. But I don't find any protections.
    How to prevent that problem(balancing and uvp) on TIDA-01627?
    Is that apply battery pack that involve protections?
    Can you give me a real picture not 3d image that made TIDA-01627 board?
    And please tell me how to protect it by TIDA-01627.

    Hi HJ,

    You could add the BQ4050 if cell balancing is required for your design. If you have further questions on the battery protection, please ask a new question with the BQ part number so that the correct team sees it.
