Hello:

The book "Operational Amplifier Noise: Techniques and Tips for Reducing Noise", says in Chapter 4 that on the TI site macro noise models are available by searching under "TINA Noise Sources". However, this brings up thousands of links, mostly to particular parts, without an early reference to these noise macros.

The purpose of these noise macros is to build general noise models of both current and voltage, with the ability to model both 1/f and flat noise spectral density. These can, for example, be used on the front end of a generic op amp model to add noise that matches the data sheet of a particular op amp.

Are these general purpose noise macros available? If so, where can they be found?

Thanks very much for that quick response and the file.

Please let me test it out before closing the thread. I may have more questions after giving it a try.

It's a mystery to me that after all these years they still have not put easy and generic noise noises in SPICE that can be specified as a function of frequency. But, if these models allow basic 1/f and floor modeling, then I can get by.
