Hi team,

 

I’m looking for a supervisor IC which can monitor an emergency stop signal (24V – 0V, Active Low), when the voltage of this line drops below a certain threshold, a timer would be enabled (programmable timer would be best in the range of 150ms to 500ms).

 

Due to this being part of the safety chain, this IC would need to be certified with the relevant standard to ensure it always failed safe.

 

Two ICs would be used per system for double redundancy .

 

PS: Seems as something similar to the TL7700 but with a broader operational temperature would be ideal.

 

Can you suggest any suitable parts?

    Out of our released devices, I think TPS3711 will work but doesn't have built-in programmable delay but programmable delay can be easily added using the technique outline in this APP Note: www.ti.com/.../snva851.pdf
