Hello,

This file on this download page is actually corrupted! I reported this last year but it is still corrupted and its installation fails! I tried to install a newly downloaded file but its installation fails as before. Please repair it at once!

Hi Tim,

I have verified that the file on the web is fine. In fact there are multiple downloads of the tool every week without any issues. I suspect this is something specific to your computer. Have you tried downloading to another machine. If that does not work, may your network connection are blocking some download. Maybe also try on a personal computer to rule out the network connection.

HI Tim,

Did you try my recommendations above -- trying on a different computer and different network? This might help narrow down the problem.

Also, do you have admin right to install software? If so, can you install as an "Admin"?

I don't have another Windows computer. I do have administrator privilege when I install this software. I even switch to the Administrator account whenever I install this Tina software :((

I also check the temporary installation directory. The file setup.exe is actually there :(

Tim,

Can you try one more thing. Please disable any antivirus before installing. If that does not work, we will need to check with DesignSoft, the tool developers. This is a very odd problem and we have not seen this before.

Hello,

I did disable all the anti-virus software before installing this software. The installation still fails as always :((

Thanks Tim.
I just installed TINA on my Win7 machine using a freshly downloaded installer from ti.com.
Same for my Win10 machine.
Could you send a snapshot of the error message window?

Hi Tim,

Looking at the discussion here as well as the fact that you said you had similar problem last year, there is a chance that we might not help you further because we cannot reduplicate your problem. However, please help John by taking the snapshot of the error message window just in case he can be of any help.

The next step that we would recommend is to contact the TINA vendor directly to assist you directly. They might have to get with you through online webex so that they can see your computer screen and try to resolve it directly as much as they can as well provide you with specific recommendation.
