Hi Jason,

The ton_calc value is made up of two components.

One component new_ton_calc comes directly from the voltage loop output (ac_cur_ref). The PERIOD_MIN multiplier, in the new_ton_calc equation, allows deriving a ton value in terms of switching period. vin_scaler works as feed-forward factor for changes in line voltage.

The second component comes from the current loop output (gi_out). The multiplier PERIOD_MAX, in the ton_iloop_adj equation, allows the current loop to have a bigger impact on ton than what a PERIOD_MIN multiplier would have in this equation.
