What are the benefits of using ISO3082 (Isolated 5V RS-485 transceiver) in the implementation of low cost, high efficiency communication modules used in Industrial applications like UPS and Energy Storage banks?
TIDA-01281 is a TI Reference Design solution to help develop low cost, high efficiency, isolated RS-485, I2C & CAN communication modules, that are used in industrial applications like UPS and Energy Storage banks.
ISO3082 is an isolated, half-duplex, differential line transceiver for TIA/EIA 485/422 applications with signaling rates up to 20 Mbps. This device is tested to provide an isolation 2500 VRMS per UL 1577 standard, with a transient immunity of 50kV/uS. In TIDA-01281, this device is used to implement a half-duplex communication with a host controller.
